Biking Boys

Sam is moving on from his balance bike to a pedal bike. Here he is trying it out for the first time. Evan is trying to get in on the action as well pushing his tricycle. Whatever they ride they are having a blast! This is out in front of our new place and we love that we are no longer on a steep hill next to a narrow street with cars that drive by way too fast. As you can see this is a much better bike riding path.

Evan is becoming quite the little character. He likes to recreate Sam's "excited face" by raising his eyebrows, tightening his jaw and making his face really red (I am trying to capture it on film). He also really wants to talk and is saying more and more everyday...boat, bike, howwwse, meeaboo, pane (plane), yam (Sam), poop, mama, dada, nigh-nigh, boob....which he is now off of, however he seems to remember and continues to ask for them. He is also biting and hitting and doesn't care to stop even when I say no and instead will smack me. He is already taking little time outs for this because I am not sure what else to do. Any suggestions? However, I have to admit he is still cute even when he is being a naughty boy.

Way to go Sam!!! He isn't even four yet and riding a bike without training wheels! Way to go! Evan is too cute he would be hard to discipline. Good luck :)

Awesome job Sam! That balance bike really works! I know what it feels like to be smacked by your cute little boy. Easton does it to me. All I do with him right now because he is so young is grab his hand and tell him soft and softly move his hand across my face. Hopefully it will work someday, other than that hopefully they grow out of smacking their mothers! Your place looks beautiful and better for family fun. Love you guys and miss you!
