I know many of you are anxiously awaiting the arrival of Spring, warmer temps and more sunshine. This is exactly what motivated my Dad, Brian, Riley, Mary and Elly to pile into a 5-seater (with a car seat that's really crowded) and drive @850 miles to see us. They planned to take two days to travel, spending a night in Vegas. Well with it being spring break, they couldn't find a room even in the dirty, fringe casinos (it's probably better that they didn't). Continuing on.....dad driving like 55mph on Interstate 5, acting drunk due to his lack of sleep finally hands the wheel over to Riley who brings the fam to our place @ 3AM. Phew, they survived with only a minor irritating Strawberry Shortcake song stuck in their heads. From looking at the pics below, I think it was all worth it.

Look like a GRAND time in Sunny Cali!!! Looking at those pictures makes me really have the Spring Fever!!! It makes sense why they got out of this freezzzzing cold place and drove 800 plus miles to be in a warm place!!! AWWWwwww I wish I were there instead of windy...freezing Poky :( Love ya Summer

What a wonderful way to share spring break with the rest of us! I love the family picture...everyone looks so happy and peaceful! I cannot believe how big Sammy and Elly are getting....what beautiful children.. Also, Evan looks like he has a sweet mohawk in one of the pictures....what a cutie!

I love all the pics of the family. Especially Sam and Elly together sleeping and hanging out. Evan is getting so big and so cute! The beach photos are so beautiful and give me hope of warmth. LOve you all of you, hope all is well.
